Boy the past week was fantastic with all the success we saw,
we invited several people to be baptized and 3 of them now have dates for the
end of the month!!! I tell you the past transfer I've just been feeling the
strongest desire to just literally go out and invite everyone i see to be
baptized. These last couple weeks have impressed upon me how important it is.
My new companion is doing very well, he is actually the one who invited all of
them to be baptized which is a great start to his mission, I love him alot he
is a great, humble guy and I expect miracles to come from him later on in his
mission. The past week has caused me to reflect with gratitude with everything
the Lord has done for me in the mission field, the spirit has impressed upon me
the greatest desire to work harder then ever before and to just be bold with
everyone that I see, I love how God has influenced me to do that. Plus we are
seeing such great support from the ward and how well they love us and love the Lord. I am impressed with them all. I had an experience just yesterday where we
had a mission wide conference with Elder Gifford S. Nielson of the Quorum of
the Seventy, Sister Carol F. McConkie and Sis. Reeves both general authorities,
and their spouses. It was very uplifting and enlightening to hear all of them
speak. One quote that is burned into my mind is from Elder Nielson, said he " The mission is the greatest time of your life, you will never have
an experience like this ever again. Are you in, or are you out?" He then
kind of stunned us by saying that when we shook his hand, he looked into our
eyes and he discerned which of us are actually in the mission, and which of us
are semi-in. From that experience I burned with a desire to be 110% in my mission these last
few critical months, I want with all my heart to do better then I've ever done,
even more then my best to bring souls unto Christ. I hope you all have a great
week Ofa Atu!
