We experienced incredible miracles in Launceston! Our two
progressing investigators, an older couple, were baptized and confirmed! I can
testify that I have seen the hand of the Lord work miracles in their lives and
mine. It just keeps getting more clear that Heavenly Father knows his children,
so he's going to take care of them and give us success when we put in our part
and show patience, love etc.
An even bigger miracle happened within myself.
I've changed to have more of an outward view on things, instead of an inward
view meaning, I'm better at looking at others how Christ sees them. I'm not as
selfish as I used to be though still imperfect. I've seen the atonement change
me to be a better person which I give thanks to God daily for. There is also
some interesting news, my Mission President Maxwell called me Saturday night informing me that there will be a lot of mission leaders going
home mid transfer (one of those being my trainer Elder Gines) and because of
that he asked me to serve as a zone leader for Tasmania! I'm gonna be driving down
to Glenorchy to meet the other zone leaders Elders Campbell and Long before
Elder Long flies up to the mainland. But I'm seriously just excited to get to
work! That hymn "I'll go where you want me to go dear Lord" has been
in my mind for the past couple days, and I'm excited to go! I'm also sad to
leave though. The ward has changed for the better, my companion has changed
tremendously and there are more baptisms in the future with our current
investigators. But I learned a while ago that if the Lord needs you somewhere
else you should do it. Sorry this is a bit short, I'm just a bit more busy now.
Have a great week! Love Elder Kaanapu
