The Power of Priesthood Blessings

Hey everybody i'm doing so well here at the MTC and so much has happened since the last time I was able to email everybody :) we've had amazing devotionals and talks and lessons about how to teach people to their needs and how to better feel the spirit etc. but some amazing spiritual experiences have happened here as well. For starters one Elder in our district needed a blessing for his sickness so Elder Wach was asked to do it and oh my goodness the spirit was sooooo strong and powerful we all felt it and started bawling because of the words that he said. It was amazing for me to participate in that because I was able to anoint Elder Christensen and I was able to be in the blessing circle. BUT then later on in a couple days, like last Tuesday. One of the Sisters in our zone needed a blessing of comfort and I felt prompted to do it. I had no idea what I was going to say but I went in with full faith and confidence that the lord would help me, it started out like a normal blessing like when you say that the lord loves you etc. but then I had the specific impression to bless her that her family is okay and that they are proud of her for going on a mission and that she will be an example to them etc. and oh my GOSH the spirit was insanely strong at that point baring witness to her and me that what came out of my mouth by the power of the Holy Ghost was true. And then we started crying again because of the strong spirit :) I love the experiences that I'm having here, I wish I could tell you guys all of them but I just don't have enough time to do it! But let me just say that I am SO HAPPY and GRATEFUL that I am on a mission!!!!! I love it so much and I'm so excited to go to Australia! Which actually reminds me of another experience I had is that I've met alot of missionaries that are going to Australia but also some teachers who have served in out same area!!! it was soo cool to talk to them :) Anyways I love you all! have an amazing week! read your scriptures and pray always!!
